Olympe gondola – Brides-les-Bains

Brides-les-Bains has a magnificent asset in the form of the Olympe gondola.

The Olympe gondola was built in honor of the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games to link the village of Brides-les-Bains to the center of Méribel for easier access to the slopes where the Games were held.

This gondola will enhance the village of Brides-les-Bains and provide a link to the resort of Méribel in just 25 minutes.

In 2021, the Olympe gondola was renovated to offer optimum space and comfort.

The new cabins are themed to reflect the values and history of our region.

During the winter season, it is open every day from December to April, you can reach the Méribel ski area. From Méribel you can access the entire 3 Vallées ski area, which includes Courchevel, Val Thorens, Les Ménuires and Orelles.

You can also use this gondola to get to Méribel and discover the activities on offer during the winter season, as well as the amenities.

In summer, the Olympe cable car is open every Sunday from July to August.

It will take you up to Méribel and from the top you can go for a walk around the resort, or take the gondola and chair lifts up to the top of the mountains to enjoy the view.

You’ll discover the resort of Méribel from a whole new angle and be able to observe the wild flora and fauna.

Méribel is also the starting point for a number of hikes enabling you to discover the 3 Valleys.
